A Firm Customer Bond
Posted on June 8, 2010“We are approaching the one year anniversary of the installation of our new York heating and air conditioning system. I am very much impressed with the performance of these units and wanted to let you know. We did not buy the highest efficiency unit available, instead opting for a 95.5% efficient furnace and a 14.1 SEER air conditioner. Our decision was guided by cost and the desire to install Energy Star compliant units.
Our old system at times would run all day (literally) to produce a 2 or 3 degree change in the temperature of the house and the new system might run a total of 20 minutes to achieve the same change. We are on level pay with City Utilities, and, thanks to the efficiency of the new systems, have amassed a $500 credit against our bill JUST SINCE THE SYSTEM WAS INSTALLED. To my way of thinking, this is absolutely amazing.
You and the folks at Signature were absolutely fantastic to work with. First, your analysis of our need was right on the money, as evidence by the savings the system is providing. The installation was neat and professional and done in minimal time. We have had a service call since installation, and even this was handled promptly and efficiently. During that call, a couple of system “tweaks” were found to be necessary, and Signature handled those revisions without hesitance and professionally as well.
I think it is safe to say that your organization’s performance has created a firm customer bond with us, and rest assured that Signature will be called upon for all future system and service needs.
Please feel free to pass this on to other customers. You will get my highest recommendation.”

Installing a Ground Source System
Posted on April 1, 2010“We decided about a year ago to investigate the possibility of installing a Ground Source Heating/Cooling system and went to the 2009 Home Show and talked with several companies. I also talked with our utility supplier to find out if they had particular recommendations. From these discussions, we invited four companies to visit our home to recommend equipment and provide a bid. We did not make a rapid decision, because we also wanted to make sure that we were able to take advantage of any and all rebates and tax credits. During this time, we also took into consideration the way the companies treated us during the process.
After dealing with all of the companies, Signature Home Comfort provided us the timely answers to our questions and concerns and they also did not “hound” us about making a decision. The level of response was noted from our Sales Rep., Justin Kellogg, to the owners of the company. After all of this deliberation, we engaged Signature Home Comfort to install the GeoComfort, Ground Source Heat Pump in the fall of last year and would have to say that we feel it has been a great decision. The employees of the company were timely, friendly, and thorough. They replaced our duct work and installed the new system in a very timely and professional manner. We are very pleased with the system and the noise level is very minimal. There is no longer an outside unit, so the outdoor noise it totally gone.”

I was fortunate enought to win a new home furnace complete with installation at the recently held Home Show in Springfield. Within three weeks my home was examined, measured for the correct size of furnace, and the new Trane furnace was installed.
